Mallorca, Barcelona B play out six-goal thriller

Mallorca hold 10-man Barcelona B to a 3-3 draw in their Segunda Division clash.

Mallorca twice came from behind to secure a 3-3 draw against Barcelona B in their Segunda Division clash this afternoon.

A pulsating first 45 minutes brought four goals and it all started so well for Mallorca when Kasim put the home side ahead after just four minutes.

Barcelona turned the match around just past the 30-minute mark, with goals from Jean Marie Dongou and Juan Camara seeing the visitors take a 2-1 lead.

Mallorca came back strong in the latter stages of the half, however, equalising through Brazilian midfielder Joao Victor to leave the two sides level at the break.

Barca regained the lead in the early stages of the second period through Alex Grimaldo as both sides continued to commit numbers in the final third.

The home side again responded 15 minutes from time when Karim scored his second of the match and that was how the score remained despite Barcelona B finishing with 10 men after Gerard Gumbau was dismissed for two yellow cards.
