Preview: Real Madrid vs. Real Sociedad

Sports Mole looks forward to Saturday afternoon's La Liga clash between Real Madrid and Real Sociedad at the Bernabeu.

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has plenty of selection issues to ponder ahead of tomorrow night's La Liga showdown with Real Sociedad at the Bernabeu.

Ancelotti could choose to give club captain Iker Casillas a domestic recall following his fine performance in Tuesday's 2-2 draw with Juventus, although Diego Lopez is likely to retain his place as number one this weekend.

Cristiano Ronaldo missed training yesterday after scoring in Turin, but is expected to recover in time for this weekend's clash in the Spanish capital.

Isco, Angel di Maria and Dani Carvajal are all pushing for a place in Ancelotti's starting XI, while Asier Illarramendi is also in contention to start against his former club.

Sociedad travel to Madrid on the back of a four-match unbeaten run in La Liga, which was followed by holding Manchester United to a goalless draw in Champions League action in midweek.

Esteban Granero and Diego Ifran remain the only long-term absentees for Jagoba Arrasate, which leaves the boss to focus on whether to keep Carlos Vela and Antoine Griezmann in an attacking formation.
