Preview: Deportivo La Coruna vs. Real Madrid

Sports Mole previews this weekend's La Liga clash between Deportivo La Coruna and Real Madrid.

Real Madrid will be desperate for a victory against Deportivo La Coruna on Saturday as they look to get their La Liga title challenge back on track.

Carlo Ancelotti's side have suffered back-to-back defeats in the Spanish top flight and they are already six points behind leaders Barcelona.

Last weekend's defeat against city rivals Atletico Madrid further underlined the feeling of discontent at the Bernabeu.

It hasn't all been doom and gloom for the club, as they began their defence of the Champions League with a confident 5-1 win over Basel in midweek.

Facing Madrid is a Deportivo outfit who picked up their first win since returning to the top flight on Monday.

A first-half strike from Juan Dominguez was enough to give them a 1-0 victory over Eibar and lift them into the top half of the table.

Real Madrid will be without Sami Khedira, who faces a month on the sidelines with a hamstring injury, but Dani Carvajal is expected to shake off a similar problem to start.

Meanwhile, Deportivo are unable to call on the services of Luis Farina, who picked up a muscle sprain during training, while Pablo Insua remains a doubt.
