Preview: Queens Park Rangers vs. Doncaster Rovers

Sports Mole previews the Championship encounter between Queens Park Rangers and Doncaster Rovers.

Queens Park Rangers host Doncaster Rovers on New Year's Day hoping to score their first goal in four games.

An injury to striker Charlie Austin and a lack of match fitness for Andy Johnson and Bobby Zamora meant that manager Harry Redknapp opted to start without a recognised forward during their 0-0 draw with Watford on Sunday.

Redknapp could recall one of Zamora or Johnson, while Gary O'Neil could be handed a start in midfield.

Doncaster boss Paul Dickov has not seen his team win since they beat the Hoops in the reverse fixture at the end of November.

The Yorkshire outfit's slump has seem them fall to 21st position, but Dickov may decide to play attacker Federico Macheda from the start at Loftus Road as they attempt to move up the Championship table.
