Manchester United are willing to loan Donny van de Beek out amid interest from Galatasaray and Fenerbahce, according to a report.

Manchester United are reportedly willing to loan Donny van de Beek out, with Galatasaray and Fenerbahce regarded as the favourites for the central midfielder.

The Netherlands international is not in Erik ten Hag's plans at Old Trafford and has been left out of the squad for the group stage of the Champions League in a clear indication that he is on the way out.

Van de Beek failed to secure a departure before the closing of the Premier League transfer window, but he could still move to Turkey, as their deadline is not until September 15.

According to ESPN, Man United had originally identified the Dutchman as a player capable of raising a healthy transfer fee during the summer market.

The club allegedly did not receive as much interest as anticipated, though, and a possible switch to Lorient broke down in the latter stages of the window.

The report claims that the 20-time English champions had always planned to sell Van de Beek, but a loan exit is now being considered, with the club running out of options.

Man United would allegedly be looking to include an obligation to buy in any loan move, although it is unclear at this stage whether Galatasaray or Fenerbahce would agree to those terms.

The Red Devils have already dealt with Fenerbahce twice this summer, selling Brazilian midfielder Fred to the Turkish giants, before bringing in goalkeeper Altay Bayindir from the club.

Galatasaray recently secured a loan deal for Tottenham Hotspur's Tanguy Ndombele, but there is still believed to be interest from the club in Man United's Dutch midfielder.

Van de Beek missed the second half of last season with a serious knee injury, but he was involved in his club's preparations for the 2023-24 campaign.

The midfielder has struggled to make his mark at Old Trafford since arriving from Ajax in September 2020, only managing two goals and two assists in 60 appearances.

Man United signed two midfielders during the summer market, bringing in Mason Mount from Chelsea before adding Sofyan Amrabat on loan from Fiorentina.

Scott McTominay also stayed at the club despite some speculation, with the Scotland international set to play a rotational role during the 2023-24 campaign.
