Manchester City team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Everton

Sports Mole rounds up Manchester City's injury and suspension news ahead of their Premier League clash with Everton on Sunday.

Manchester City will be looking to consolidate their position at the top of the Premier League table when they travel to Goodison Park to face relegation-threatened Everton on Sunday.

The Citizens head to Merseyside after playing out a 1-1 draw with Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final on Tuesday, with a stunning strike from Kevin De Bruyne cancelling out an equally excellent opener from Vinicius Junior.

Pep Guardiola's side have not lost any of their last 21 matches across all competitions and have won each of their last 10 Premier League games, although they were forced to settle for a 1-1 draw in their last meeting with Everton at the Etihad Stadium in December.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Man City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest with Sean Dyche's side, who surprisingly thrashed Brighton & Hove Albion 5-1 away from home on Monday.

Nathan Ake

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: May 14 (vs. Everton)

Nathan Ake missed the midweek draw with Real Madrid after tweaking his hamstring in the 2-1 Premier League win over Leeds United last weekend, and the Dutch defender is seemingly unlikely to recover in time for Sunday's trip to Goodison Park.

MANCHESTER CITY'S SUSPENSION LIST

Manchester City have no suspended players for this match.
