Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Arsenal could line up for Saturday's pre-season friendly with Everton.

Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus ought to make his first start for the club in Saturday's pre-season friendly with Everton in Baltimore.

The Brazilian came off the bench to score twice in a 5-3 win over German second-tier side Nuremberg last week, with his first coming 90 seconds after his introduction.

All of Mikel Arteta's senior internationals have made the journey to the United States, but youngsters such as Charlie Patino, Marcelo Flores and Omari Hutchinson have missed out on places.

Matt Turner did not cover himself in glory on his debut last week, and Aaron Ramsdale could now return in front of the familiar Ben White-Gabriel Magalhaes centre-back pairing, with William Saliba sure to earn some minutes at some point.

Takehiro Tomiyasu and Kieran Tierney will need to be carefully managed in pre-season, so Hector Bellerin and Cedric Soares could start in the full-back areas this week.

Granit Xhaka is ready to man the Arsenal midfield once again and could do so alongside Mohamed Elneny, who added another 30-yard screamer to his collection in Germany last week.

Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard and Gabriel Martinelli are ready to reunite in the final third just behind Jesus, but Fabio Vieira is another option after shaking off a foot problem.

Arsenal possible starting lineup: Ramsdale; Bellerin, White, Gabriel, Cedric; Xhaka, Elneny; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Jesus
