Leeds United sporting director Victor Orta is preparing to hand Marcelo Bielsa up to £50m to recruit four new signings in January, according to a report.

Leeds United are reportedly prepared to splash the cash on four new signings in the January transfer window.

The Whites have struggled for form so far this season and are currently languishing in 16th place in the Premier League table, five points above the relegation zone, though 18th-placed Burnley have three games in hand.

With Marcelo Bielsa also having to deal with an injury crisis at Elland Road, the club's sporting director Victor Orta is prepared to back the Argentine by handing him £48.3m to spend in the winter window, according to the Daily Express.

The report adds that Tottenham Hotspur's Joe Rodon, Napoli's Eljif Elmas and Orlando City's Daryl Dike are three players Leeds have identified ahead of next month, with the latter believed to have a £15m release clause which Orta is prepared to activate.

Another potential target for the Whites is Rubin Kazan winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who is valued by the Russian outfit in the region of £18m.

Leeds spent around £50m over the summer, including the £25m purchase of Daniel James from Manchester United, but Orta is keen to help Bielsa bolster his squad ahead of a challenging second half of the season.
