Sevilla snatch win over Espanyol

Liverpool loanee Iago Aspas scored an 89th-minute winner as Sevilla just about overcame 10-man Espanyol in this evening's La Liga match at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

Espanyol took the lead just before the quarter-hour mark when Christian Stuani tucked home a penalty following Beto's foul on Salva Sevilla in the box.

Sevilla responded well to going behind and levelled 10 minutes later in odd circumstances when Diogo Figueiras went in for a 50-50 challenge with Stuani and whacked the ball from at least 35 yards over Francisco Casilla and into the net.

Ten minutes before half time Sevilla completed the turnaround . . .
