Paris Saint-Germain boss Laurent Blanc prepared for tough Lyon challenge

Paris Saint-Germain boss Laurent Blanc says that he and his players will have to rise to the challenge against Lyon to take all three points from the contest.

Paris Saint-Germain boss Laurent Blanc has insisted that his side will have to be at their best to defeat Lyon in their Ligue 1 clash on Sunday.

Blanc's team host Hubert Fournier's men in their clash as they look to extend their lead further at the top of the table by taking their unbeaten run to 18 matches.

He told reporters: "Whether it's a home match or an away match, we approach every game with the same ambition: to win. I'm not interested in the records, all it means is that we are doing a good job.

"On Sunday, we host a very good Lyon side and we want to win that's our motivation. We have three matches left before a well-deserved holiday.

"We will be preparing them to win, and if we can, we will head off to the winter break with the feeling of having accomplished a good first half of the season."

PSG face Lyon at the Parc des Princes tomorrow.
