Newcastle United reportedly focus their attention on current Al-Hilal boss Leonardo Jardim, as they continue to search for a manager following Steve Bruce's exit.

Newcastle United have reportedly turned their attention to Leonardo Jardim in their search for a new manager.

Following the departure of Steve Brue earlier in October, the new Magpies owners have been looking for a new man to take over at St. James' Park, with interim manager Graeme Jones taking control of the side in the meantime.

According to 90min, the Saudi Public Investment Fund have now turned their attention to Leonardo Jardim, who is currently in charge of Al-Hilal in the Saudi top flight, with several members of the ownership consortium reportedly familiar with the 47-year-old and seeing him as the right man for the job.

He joins a long list of potential candidates, with Lucien Favre, Eddie Howe and Paulo Fonseca among those who have already been linked with a move to St. James' Park in recent weeks.

Before taking over in Riyadh, Jardim previously managed Braga, Olympiacos, Sporting Lisbon and Monaco, and he led the latter to an unlikely Ligue 1 title in the 2016-17 season.
