Marcelo Bielsa: 'Marseille must be more clinical'

Marcelo Bielsa admits that his Marseille side are lacking a clinical edge following the 2-2 draw with Reims.

Marseille head coach Marcelo Bielsa has claimed that his side need to be more clinical following the disappointing 2-2 draw with Reims.

Les Phoceens looked on course for top spot in Ligue 1 before David N'Gog snatched an equaliser for the visitors in stoppage time, and Bielsa refused to defend his side's inability to hold on for all three points.

"Call this result what you want, but it can't be a source of satisfaction," the Argentine told reporters. "We have dropped two points which are indispensable in our quest for what we are seeking.

"I saw that we were up against a side with many fewer resources than us, and the difference we showed in terms of chances, we weren't able to reflect that on the scoreboard.

"I think we have the quality, the resources to build attacking play and we don't manage to translate that into goals. It's a difficult situation to explain, because it's not the first time that I have to answer that question, and I can't find a satisfactory answer."

Marseille are one point behind leaders Lyon, who meet Lorient on Sunday.
