Manchester United reportedly have a bid rejected for 15-year-old Independiente del Valle starlet Kendry Paez.

Manchester United have reportedly had a bid rejected from Independiente del Valle for 15-year-old Ecuador starlet Kendry Paez.

The 2022 Copa Sudamericana champions produced Brighton & Hove Albion's Moises Caicedo, who is attracting interest from Chelsea and Liverpool, and Bayer Leverkusen defender Piero Hincapie, who has been linked with a move to Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.

Ole reports that the Red Devils failed with a bid a few months ago, amongst interest from several clubs.

The report also states that the Ecuadorian club recognise the 'jewel' that they possess, and have promoted the youngster to the first-team squad for 2023.

The outlet also claims that the midfielder will soon make his debut for the Sangolqui club but his development will be carefully monitored.

Any move would not be able to happen until the player is 18 years old, just like Endrick's move to Real Madrid, which was confirmed this week.
