Marouane Fellaini travels to Oslo despite Galatasaray transfer rumours

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho opts to take Marouane Fellaini to Norway in order to face Valarenga despite rumours surrounding the midfielder's future at the club.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has decided to include midfielder Marouane Fellaini as part of the club's squad to face Valarenga despite rumours surrounding his future.

Fellaini has reportedly been in talks to secure a move to Turkish side Galatasaray over the weekend, but Mourinho has still opted to bring the Belgian midfielder to Oslo for United's latest warm-up fixture ahead of the new season.

Much has been made of Mourinho's decisions to leave potentially departing players out of his squad, with both Morgan Schneiderlin and Memphis Depay being left out for a month prior to their respective departures to Everton and Lyon during the winter.

The same was the case for Adnan Januzaj and Sam Johnstone when they left Old Trafford earlier in the transfer window, as they were omitted from pre-season friendlies before heading out of the door.

Fellaini has made 89 appearances for the Red Devils since joining under former boss David Moyes in 2013.
