The Manchester United hierarchy reportedly have no immediate plans to part company with manager Jose Mourinho.

The Manchester United hierarchy have reportedly put no plans together to part company with Jose Mourinho.

United have endured a disappointing opening four months of the campaign, with the club currently sitting 11 points adrift of a place in the top four of the Premier League table.

The North-West giants were also criticised after Sunday's 3-1 defeat at rivals Liverpool but according to The Mirror, Mourinho remains safe in the dugout.

The report claims that there are no immediate plans to relieve Mourinho of his duties, and that the Portuguese will be given time to turn things around at Old Trafford.

United have a favourable run of fixtures over Christmas, with games coming up against Cardiff City, Huddersfield Town, Bournemouth and Newcastle United.
