Kalvin Phillips has reportedly agreed personal terms with Manchester City which will see the midfielder earn £150,000 per week at the Etihad Stadium.

On Friday, it was widely reported that the Premier League champions have reached an agreement with Leeds United to sign the 26-year-old for an initial £42m, which could rise to £45m with add-ons.

According to Football Insider, both parties are now in the final stages of negotiations and Phillips has agreed to sign a double-your-money contract with City, although the length of his deal is currently unknown.

Even though Phillips is currently away on holiday, it is thought that both City and Leeds could be in a position to officially announce the deal at some point next week if negotiations continue to progress.

The England international has been a primary target for Citizens boss Pep Guardiola, who has been on the lookout to find a replacement for the departing Fernandinho.

Phillips, who has spent his entire career with boyhood club Leeds, is set to become City's second signing of the summer window after the arrival of striker Erling Braut Haaland from Borussia Dortmund earlier this month.
