Mohamed Salah 'considering Liverpool exit'

Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah could leave Anfield during this summer's transfer window, according to a report.

Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah is reportedly considering the possibility of leaving Anfield this summer.

The 28-year-old has again been in strong form for the Reds this season despite the team's struggles, scoring 24 times in 37 appearances in all competitions, including 17 goals in 26 Premier League outings.

Salah only has little over two years left to run on his contract with Jurgen Klopp's side, though, and was visibly frustrated when he was substituted against Chelsea in the league on Thursday night.

Barcelona and Real Madrid are both said to be admirers of the Egypt international, although it is unlikely that either would be able to sign him this summer due to the financial impact of the coronavirus outbreak.

According to Eurosport, Barca could potentially be in the running if Lionel Messi leaves, but Madrid view Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe as their leading attacking target.

Salah, who is said to be keen on a change of scenery, has scored 118 times and registered 45 assists in 189 appearances for the Reds since arriving from Roma in the summer of 2017.
