Saturday's Serie A predictions including Monza vs. Inter Milan

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Serie A fixtures, including Monza vs. Inter Milan.

Genoa vs. Torino (Saturday, 2.00pm)

Having toppled the reigning champions last week, Torino travel to Marassi on Saturday, when they meet mid-table rivals Genoa.

Toro crushed Napoli 3-0 to stay inside the top half of the Serie A standings, while their hosts have gone four games unbeaten and now sit seven points clear of the drop zone.

We say: Genoa 1-1 Torino

Although Torino tend to struggle for goals when away from home, last week's success should imbue their forwards with confidence. As a result, they can come close to taking three points back to Turin - but Gilardino's Genoa are not easily beaten at Marassi and can escape with a draw.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Napoli vs. Salernitana (Saturday, 2.00pm)

Beleaguered and surely outgoing Serie A defending champions Napoli host cellar-dwelling Salernitana in their first game of 2024 at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona on Saturday.

The round 20 match sees Walter Mazzarri's men seeking a response to last weekend's 3-0 mauling at Torino, while Filippo Inzaghi's men are still disappointed after the events of the closing minutes in the marginal 2-1 to Juventus in gameweek 19.

We say: Napoli 1-1 Salernitana

Regardless of the 16-point difference between the sides, one victory in five at the Maradona (three altogether in 23-24) means Saturday's game with Salernitana is not guaranteed to end in a Napoli victory despite the Granata's broader away woes.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Hellas Verona vs. Empoli (Saturday, 5.00pm)

The second half of the Serie A season begins with relegation-threatened Hellas Verona and Empoli battling in gameweek 20 at Stadio Marcantonio Bentegodi on Saturday.

Both sides, unsurprisingly out of form, are separated by a point in the standings, further adding to the importance of this weekend's result.

We say: Hellas Verona 1-1 Empoli

Three of the last four meetings between these clubs have ended 1-1, and another low-scoring draw could be on the cards at the Bentegodi on Saturday.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Monza vs. Inter Milan (Saturday, 7.45pm)

Inter Milan lead Serie A by two points at the halfway stage, after starting 2024 with a last-gasp victory, and they now kick off the second half of their campaign on Saturday evening, at nearby Monza.

While Inter sneaked past Hellas Verona to retain their advantage over old foes Juventus, mid-table Monza moved closer to the top half of the standings with their first win in four games.

We say: Monza 0-2 Inter Milan

Inter have scored in 27 consecutive Serie A matches - their last goalless league game incidentally came versus Monza, in April 2023 - and that streak should continue. The Nerazzurri can sign off for their sojourn to Saudi Arabia with another win, putting the pressure on closest challengers Juventus to respond.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.
