Tuesday's Championship predictions including Norwich vs. Luton

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Championship fixtures, including Norwich City vs. Luton Town.

Huddersfield vs. Preston (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Huddersfield Town will look to move out of the Championship relegation zone with a victory against Preston North End on Tuesday.

Both sides come into the game at the John Smith's Stadium on the back of defeats at the weekend, with the Terriers in the relegation zone and eight points behind mid-table Preston.

We say: Huddersfield Town 1-1 Preston North End

Huddersfield have struggled to break down almost every defence they have come up against this season, so will almost definitely struggle against the toughest of the lot.

However, Preston do not score many goals so a defensive draw is the expected outcome.

Norwich vs. Luton (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Norwich City and Luton Town square off in the Championship on Tuesday, off the back of contrasting results from the weekend's action.

Luton sit outside the playoffs by a solitary point after their victory against Queens Park Rangers on Saturday, as Norwich slipped out of the automatic promotion places after their narrow defeat at Watford.

We say: Norwich City 2-2 Luton Town

Norwich's mini-slump is slightly concerning, but they are still scoring goals and playing well at home. Luton should not be taken lightly, though, and we expect them to leave Carrow Road with a point.

Swansea vs. Reading (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Swansea City will be aiming to bounce back from a heavy defeat on the weekend as they host Reading in the Championship on Tuesday night.

The Royals also came away empty-handed from their last fixture and need to address a worrying run of three games without a victory.

We say: Swansea City 1-0 Reading

After a heavy defeat at Burnley on Saturday, Swansea will be desperate to get back on track against Reading at the Liberty Stadium.

Reading have struggled to pose a threat on the road so far this term, and we do not see that changing on a difficult midweek trip to South Wales.

Blackburn vs. Sunderland (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

Blackburn Rovers and Sunderland meet in the Championship on Tuesday night with both clubs heading into this clash following weekend victories.

The Black Cats have made an impressive start to life back in the second tier and now travel to a Blackburn team with serious promotion ambitions after missing out on the top six last year.

We say: Blackburn Rovers 2-1 Sunderland

Blackburn are back on home turf for the first time in three matches and could go top of the Championship with a positive result against Sunderland.

Lewis Travis will be a massive miss for the home side, but their firepower and good home form should be enough to collect three points against former manager Mowbray.

Stoke vs. Rotherham (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

Stoke City play host to Rotherham United on Tuesday evening looking to record their third successive victory in the Championship.

However, the Millers make the trip to the bet365 Stadium sitting just one point adrift of their hosts in the standings after getting back to winning ways at the weekend.

We say: Stoke City 2-0 Rotherham United

Having regained some belief from the win over Huddersfield, Rotherham will feel confident about collecting more points in the Potteries. However, we feel that Stoke are developing into one of the main dark horses for the playoffs, leading us to predict a comfortable win for the home side.

West Brom vs. Bristol City (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

West Bromwich Albion play host to Bristol City on Tuesday evening looking to build on finally winning their second Championship fixture of the season at the weekend.

Despite sitting four points clear of the Baggies, Bristol City have suffered an alarming drop off in form, now only sitting in 16th position in the standings.

We say: West Bromwich Albion 2-1 Bristol City

Bristol City will still feel that there is still a lack of confidence within the Baggies setup, something which they will look to exploit. Nevertheless, we can only back a home victory, potentially by the odd goal in three after what should be a competitive game.
