Fulham 'to swoop for Eibar forward Sergi Enrich'

Championship side Fulham reportedly prepare a deadline-day move for Eibar forward Sergi Enrich.

Fulham are reportedly preparing a deadline-day move for Eibar forward Sergi Enrich.

The Championship outfit have sold striker Matt Smith to Queens Park Rangers on the final day of the January transfer window and it is understood that new additions will arrive before the window slams shut.

According to AS, Fulham have contacted Eibar over the signing of Enrich and the English club are prepared to trigger the 26-year-old's £8.6m buy-out clause.

Enrich, who has previously been capped at youth level for Spain, joined Eibar from Numancia in the summer of 2015 and has scored 15 league goals for the Spanish outfit.

This season, the Mallorca-born forward has netted six times in 20 La Liga appearances.
