Everton to swoop for Basel defender Leo Lacroix?

Everton are reportedly interested in signing Basel defender Leo Lacroix in the summer transfer window.

Everton are reportedly considering moving for Basel defender Leo Lacroix.

The Merseyside outfit have had issues at the back this season, with Michael Keane and Ashley Williams struggling to impress consistently.

According to The Sun, the Toffees are looking for a new centre-back to add to the squad and Lacroix is one of their targets for the summer window.

The report adds that Everton kept a close eye on the 26-year-old during his appearance in Basel's 2-1 victory over Manchester City in the second leg of their last-16 clash in the Champions League.

At the moment, the defender is on loan from Saint-Etienne but Basel have the option to buy at the end of the season.
