RB Leipzig are reportedly joining the race to sign Chelsea's Trevor Chalobah on loan, with Inter Milan, Tottenham, Aston Villa and Roma also linked with the 23-year-old.

RB Leipzig are reportedly interested in signing Trevoh Chalobah from Chelsea.

The centre-back featured 31 times for the Blues last season, but he has fallen down the pecking order this term following the arrivals of Kalidou Koulibaly and Marc Cucurella.

Chelsea are not prepared to allow Chalobah to leave on a permanent transfer, but they are open to a loan departure for the 23-year-old.

Inter Milan are keen to bring the defender to San Siro, but according to the Daily Mail they will face competition from RB Leipzig who have joined the race to sign Chalobah on loan.

After Lukas Klostermann was ruled out for several weeks with an ankle injury, Leipzig have turned their attention to the transfer market to strengthen their backline.

Die Roten Bullen are looking for a player that is comfortable in a three-man defence, and they believe that Chalobah would be an ideal option.

However, the Bundesliga side could also face competition from Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa and Roma, who are all being linked with Chalobah.
