Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Chelsea could line up for their Premier League clash with West Ham United on Saturday.

Chelsea are expected to welcome some of their big-hitters back to the starting lineup for Saturday's crunch match with West Ham United at the London Stadium.

Kepa Arrizabalaga has kept two clean sheets in succession against Manchester City and most recently Brighton & Hove Albion, but Thomas Tuchel is expected to recall Edouard Mendy to the fold this weekend.

Cesar Azpilicueta enjoyed a rare night off in midweek but should return here for Andreas Christensen, while Thiago Silva was also granted a hard-earned rest and is in contention to replace Kurt Zouma.

Callum Hudson-Odoi could very well displace Reece James on the right, but Tuchel may stick with the latter for now, while Ben Chilwell should reclaim his rightful spot on the left over Marcos Alonso.

As Mateo Kovacic remains out of action with a hamstring problem, familiar midfield partners Jorginho and N'Golo Kante are in line for starts, with the latter's return pushing Mason Mount further up the pitch.

Mount starting in the final third would likely see Hakim Ziyech return to the substitutes bench, but Christian Pulisic played the full 90 on Tuesday evening and could find himself among the replacements as Timo Werner enjoys a run-out.

Olivier Giroud boasts six goals and three assists from 15 games against West Ham, and Tammy Abraham bagged a brace in December's 3-0 win over the Hammers, but Kai Havertz should spearhead the Blues' attack over the out-of-favour duo.

Chelsea possible starting lineup:
Mendy; Azpilicueta, Silva, Rudiger; James, Jorginho, Kante, Chilwell; Mount, Werner; Havertz
