Bournemouth reportedly agree a deal to sign Getafe striker Enes Unal on a loan deal with an obligation to buy at the end of the season.

Bournemouth have reportedly agreed a deal to sign striker Enes Unal from Getafe.

The Cherries have failed to add to their squad in the winter transfer window, but they now look set to make a signing before tonight's 11pm deadline.

According to Sky Sports News, the Cherries have reached an agreement with Getafe to sign Unal on loan for the remainder of the season.

The report claims that Unal will join on a permanent basis at the end of the season, with the loan deal containing an obligation to buy clause of €16.5m (£14.1m).

The Turkey international is currently undergoing a medical in Madrid before he is unveiled as Bournemouth's first signing of the transfer window.

Unal returned to action earlier this year after spending a lengthy period on the sidelines with an anterior cruciate ligament injury.

Since making his comeback from injury, the striker has gone on to make five competitive appearances across all competitions.

Unal, who joined Getafe from Villarreal in 2020, is set to leave the Azulones after scoring 36 goals in 109 competitive matches.

With Unal set to come into the club, Bournemouth forward Kieffer Moore is expected to complete a loan move to Championship side Ipswich Town.

The Welshman will receive bonus payments as part of his loan deal if second-placed Ipswich win promotion to the Premier League.
