Barcelona forward Antoine Griezmann is reportedly determined to prove himself to new president Joan Laporta between now and the end of the season.

Antoine Griezmann has reportedly informed Barcelona that he does not want to leave the club at the end of the campaign.

The France international has failed to live up to his €120m (£107m) transfer fee since arriving from Atletico Madrid in July 2019.

Reports from Spain this week claimed that cash-strapped Barca are hoping to offload Griezmann and fellow flop Philippe Coutinho to raise some funds this summer.

According to Catalunya Radio, however, the 30-year-old is determined to prove himself to Barcelona and new president Joan Laporta between now and the end of the season.

Griezmann has played in a slightly different position for the Catalans in his last two matches, finding the net in both of those games - league wins over Huesca and Real Sociedad.

Juventus have been credited with an interest in the former Atletico forward, potentially as part of a swap deal that would see Paulo Dybala head the opposite way.
