Tottenham Hotspur reportedly instigate discussions over the potential signing of Club Brugge winger Antonio Nusa.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly making an attempt to sign Club Brugge winger Antonio Nusa.

Since the arrival of Ange Postecoglou as head coach, the make-up of Spurs' attack has significantly chased, particularly due to the sale of Harry Kane to Bayern Munich.

However, that has not prevented Spurs from possessing one of the best attacking records in the Premier League, with only Manchester City netting on more occasions in 2023-24.

James Maddison has been an important addition in a creative role, while Brennan Johnson has started to establish himself on the flank.

With Timo Werner having also just joined from RB Leipzig, Postecoglou can say that he is blessed with attacking talent when Richarlison and Son Heung-Min are also starring in the final third.

Furthermore, Manor Solomon is due back from a long-term injury, but it appears that thought is already being given to further boosting Postecoglou's offensive options for the future.

According to HLN, Spurs have instigated talks with Club Brugge regarding the potential acquisition of Nusa.

Despite being just 18 years of age, Nusa has already made 62 appearances for the Belgian giants, contributing six goals and four assists in all competitions.

Four caps have also been earned with Norway's senior side, a further indication of how highly-regarded the teenager is on the international scene as well as domestic and European.

With Nusa holding a contract until 2027, Club Brugge are in a strong position over his future, yet there is an inevitability that he will soon move to a bigger club.

Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Fulham have all been credited with an interest since the summer, each of the clubs offering different options to Nusa when the next phase of development is key.

Nevertheless, it appears that Spurs have stolen a march on their rivals and are prepared to allow Nusa to remain in Belgium for the rest of the season if they are able to agree terms with Brugge.

Nusa would allegedly prefer to remain at his current club for the time being in a bid to continue his progression and help Brugge improve on their current fifth place in the top-flight standings.
