Dusan Vlahovic is officially a Juventus player after months of speculation, with the Serbian completing the move from Fiorentina and signing a four-year deal on Friday.

Juventus have completed the signing of Fiorentina's Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic on Friday, with him signing a four-year deal.

The forward's future had been up in the air for the past several months, with his previous deal at I Viola due to expire in the summer of 2023.

As a result of his refusal to extend his contract, his side were keen to cash in on him before his value deteriorated too quickly, and could now receive up to £66m for their star man, £8m of which is related to add-ons.

After a breakthrough year in the 2020-21 season in Florence, where Vlahovic scored 21 goals in 37 Serie A appearances, he then went on to net another 17 goals in just 21 league appearances for Fiorentina this season.

Arsenal and numerous other Premier League clubs had looked into the possibility to bring him to England this month, but he will now work under Massimiliano Allegri at the Allianz Stadium, with his new side currently struggling down in fifth place in Serie A.

Allegri had been keen to bring in a striker in January, which could now pave the way for Alvaro Morata to leave the club, with the former Chelsea striker being linked with a return to the Premier League in recent days.
