Arsenal could move for Sheffield United duo Sander Berge and Aaron Ramsdale before the end of the transfer window, according to a report.

Arsenal are reportedly ready to explore the possibility of signing Sheffield United duo Sander Berge and Aaron Ramsdale before the summer transfer window closes for business.

The Gunners continue to be strongly linked with Ramsdale, who has seemingly been identified by the North London club as the ideal addition between the sticks.

Talk of a move for Berge, which first surfaced earlier this year, has quietened in recent weeks, but according to The Star, Mikel Arteta's side still have an interest in both players.

The report claims that Arsenal are not prepared to meet Sheffield United's £40m valuation of Ramsdale, but the London giants are determined to secure his signature, while Berge is viewed as a leading midfield target.

The 23-year-old missed the majority of the 2020-21 campaign due to injury, with the Norwegian making just 15 appearances for the Blades, contributing one goal and one assist in the process.

Berge, who has also been linked with Liverpool, Atalanta BC and Napoli, is believed to have a £35m release clause in his current deal at Bramall Lane.
