Domhnall Gleeson and Sabrina Impacciatore have joined the cast of the highly-anticipated reboot of The Office.
The show - an American remake of the acclaimed British original - ran for nine seasons between 2005 and 2013, starring the likes of Steve Carell, John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer and Rainn Wilson.
In recent years the comedy has found new audiences on streaming and regularly ranks as one of the most-streamed shows worldwide and, after much speculation, it was confirmed last September that the show will return for an all-new iteration masterminded by original showrunner Greg Daniels.
The new version will be set in an entirely-new office from the Scranton-set predecessor, with an entirely-new cast, although it will be "in the same universe" - opening the door to appearances from former cast members.
Details on the reboot have been scant but Deadline now says that Irish actor Gleeson and The White Lotus star Impacciatore - aka season two hotel manager Valentina - are the first to sign on as part of the ensemble cast.
The show still remains at the "in development" stage, with no indication yet of an official series order or potential release date.
