Katie Price 'to become paramedic in new TV documentary'

Katie Price will reportedly train to become a volunteer paramedic in a new three-episode documentary series.

Katie Price is planning to train as a paramedic for a new three-part documentary series.

The 42-year-old has spoken of her desire to become a first responder for years and had signed up for a five-year course before the coronavirus pandemic struck.

In the show, which is being made by production company Little Gem but does not yet have a broadcaster attached, Price will undertake a six-day crash course that will allow her to work as a Volunteer Emergency Responder alongside fully-qualified paramedics.

"Katie will learn all the real-life skills she needs and they won't go easy on her because she's a celebrity," a source told The Sun.

"It's something Katie's wanted to do for years and she's really looking forward to filming next month."

News of the series comes following the success of her one-off documentary for BBC One, Katie Price: Harvey and Me, which aired last month.
