Pop legend Sinitta has reportedly filmed a guest judging role for the next series of RuPaul's Drag Race UK.

The singer - a close friend of Simon Cowell - shot to fame in the '80s with hits such as 'So Macho' and 'Toy Boy' as part of the infamous Stock Aitken Waterman hit factory.

According to the Daily Star, Sinitta shot her episode of Drag Race earlier this year ahead of its broadcast on BBC Three this autumn.

"Sinitta is one of the most exciting signings in the show's history," a show source told the newspaper.

"She's a bona fide gay icon and loves outrageous outfits, so she's perfect for Drag Race."

Drag Race UK is known for attracting camp icons as guest judges, with the likes of Alison Hammond, Hannah Waddingham, Lulu and Kathy Burke all having appeared in recent years.
