Sky unveils a Sing short for this year's Christmas advert.

Sky has partnered with the team behind Sing for this year's Christmas advert.

The two-minute clip follows Angie, who's in a race against time to get home from work to watch the Moon Theatre Christmas special with her family.

When her car gets into trouble in the snow, however, events take an unexpected turn and she finds herself as one of the stars of the show.

"Bringing families together through world class entertainment and world class products is in the Sky DNA," said Lyssa McGowan, chief consumer officer of Sky UK.

"Telling a Christmas story with the Sing characters this year brings that to life in a heart-warming and festive way that you can't resist singing along to."

Different versions of the advert will air in other Sky territories across Europe, while in the US it will promote Comcast's products.

Sky has also announced that ahead of Sing 2's release in cinemas next month, the first movie will be available for free for all customers on the Sky Store until December 31.
