Sky Sports confirms a new three-year deal that will see every Super League game broadcast live from next season.

Sky Sports has confirmed a new deal with the Super League that will see every match broadcast live starting from new season.

The agreement runs for three years and will see Sky extend its partnership with the league to 30 years, having been on board as broadcast partner since the inaugural season in 1996.

As of this season, which concluded on Saturday with Wigan Warriors as champions, Sky showed 66 games a year live but from 2024 all 162 regular-season games will be broadcast, in addition to the finals. Sky's deal also covers the women's finals and the wheelchair finals.

"We are extremely proud of our long-standing relationship with Super League and delighted to be extending our partnership beyond three decades through this agreement," said Sky Sports MD Jonathan Licht.

"It's been an exceptional season and we are excited that from next season every try, tackle and pass from every fixture will be shown live across Sky platforms – a first for the sport.

"Alongside our commitment to the women's and wheelchair game, we are delighted that fans will be able to enjoy the most comprehensive offering in the history of the sport."

The deal permits the Super League to also offer games up for free-to-air broadcast - at present Channel 4 shows 10 games a year - and make games available on a PPV basis online.
