Former The X Factor judge Louis Walsh reportedly agrees a six-figure deal to take part in Celebrity Big Brother.

Former The X Factor judge Louis Walsh has reportedly reached a deal to take part in Celebrity Big Brother.

The music mogul, 71, has been in the industry for decades, managing acts such as Westlife, Boyzone and Jedward.

Despite a recent report suggesting that Walsh had refused an offer to appear on CBB, The Sun now says that he has accepted a six-figure contract.

"He is one of the most intriguing signings for Celebrity Big Brother because he has almost half a century of experience in showbusiness to recall when he enters the house," a source told the newspaper.

"Viewers will be most interested in his memories of his time on The X Factor and working with huge music acts including Westlife and Boyzone.

"But there may be a few celebrities outside the house who are feeling nervous about what he might say, because Louis is notoriously outspoken."

Celebrity Big Brother launches on ITV1 on Monday, March 4.
